Space and Time

Space and Time is a decentralized data platform that connects smart contracts to real-world data in a trustless, scalable way.

I led the Webflow development and collaborated on the UI design and motion elements. The result is a highly dynamic site with custom sections, micro-interactions, and a visually futuristic interface.

The problem

Space and Time had to explain a genuinely difficult product to two audiences at once. Web3 developers wanted the architecture: ZK proofs, indexed blockchain data, sub-second verification. Enterprise buyers wanted the familiar half: SQL, dashboards, an AI that writes queries. A single marketing site had to carry both without reading like documentation, and keep a blog, a newsroom and a careers board current without a developer in the loop.

What I did

I led the Webflow build and worked with the design team on the interface and motion. The architecture and product explanations are built as reusable components, so the same story can be reframed for a developer on one page and a buyer on another without rebuilding it. Everything editorial (blog, news, open roles) runs on the Webflow CMS, so the team publishes without touching the site. Motion is used to sequence the architecture explanation step by step rather than to decorate it.

The outcome

Measured in September 2026, the delivered homepage reaches first contentful paint in 0.6s and finishes loading in 1.5s, across nine sections and 37 images. The site has since carried the company's announcements, partnership news and hiring without further development work.

In short

  • Diogo Ferreira led the Webflow development of the Space and Time website, working with the design team on the interface and motion.
  • Space and Time is a decentralized data warehouse that delivers sub-second ZK proofs against onchain and offchain data; it raised a $20M strategic round led by Microsoft's venture fund M12.
  • The Space and Time site runs its blog, newsroom and careers board on the Webflow CMS, so the team publishes without developer involvement.
  • The Space and Time homepage reaches first contentful paint in roughly 0.6 seconds with nine sections and 37 images, measured in September 2026.

Questions

Can Webflow handle a technical product site?

Yes. Space and Time is a decentralized data warehouse with ZK proofs and an AI SQL product, and the whole marketing site (architecture explainers, product pages, blog, newsroom and careers) is Webflow. The limit is rarely the platform; it is whether the build is structured as components rather than pages.

How does the team publish without a developer?

Every editorial surface runs on the Webflow CMS. Blog posts, news items and open roles are collections, so publishing is filling a form. Nothing on those pages requires a deploy.

Does complex motion slow the site down?

Not if it is scoped. The homepage still reaches first contentful paint in about 0.6 seconds with 37 images on it. Motion is attached to the sections that explain the architecture, not applied everywhere by default.

How long does a site like this take?

Ask me: it depends on how much of the design exists and how many audiences the site has to serve. This one was a design collaboration rather than a handoff, which changes the answer.
